    In partnership with the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority, Hudson is thrilled to mark an important milestone in our continued conservation efforts. The Enhancing Cetacean Habitat and Observation (ECHO) program is celebrating six full years of saving southern resident killer whales (SRK whales)! This is an extraordinary accomplishment. It commemorates six years of research and initiatives to reduce the threat to at-risk whales. We are so proud to be a part of this program.

    Meet Cesar! Hudson’s new athlete is a force to be reckoned with. The eighteen-year-old gymnast from Choyal, Mexico is taking the sport by storm. Over the past year alone, Cesar has dominated in competition after competition. At the CONADE State Games in March, Cesar brought home seven gold medals along with the all-around state champion title. In May, Cesar received a silver and bronze medal at the National Federation Championship. And just this past June, Cesar celebrated a first-place win in pommel horse at the CONADE National Games.

    Vigilance, training, and experience pays off for the survivors lost at sea.



    On July 22, 2022, The M/V Buffalo, operated by Hudson Shipping Lines, sailing from the USA to China, spotted and consequently rescued 5 Vietnamese fishermen who were on the verge of death after 12 days stranded at sea.

    The Vietnamese fishing boat sank on July 10th. Her crew of 15 had taken to two lifeboats.

  • HSL Athens Offloading Wheat in Indonesia

    Our 2021 newly built KAWASAKI Nantong vessel, a 82,000 deadweight ship, the m/v “HSL Athens” called the refurbished facility at Krakatau International port to off load a load of wheat grains in October 2021.

    The facility, which was damaged in the devastating tsunami that struck the Sunda straight on December 22, 2018, has been brought up to new world standards.
