Hudson's custom barges are delivered

Hudson Shipping Lines, Inc. has customized and built specialized barges to expand its capabilities and better service its customers. These purpose built barges will be used in conjunction with custom hatch covers to simplify the transport of sensitive dry bulk commodities.

While these barges are still capable of transporting most types of bulk commodities, they are unique in their ability to carry delicate cargoes in inclement weather. This capability is the result of precision engineering and craftsmanship to allow for interlocking fiberglass weather tight hatch covers.

Specially built in the United States of America, these lightweight yet durable covers are made of fiberglass with a specifically shaped design to maximize efficiency and are rust proof and easy to maneuver, keeping maintenance costs low while ensuring clean commodities at the receiving facility. Hudson's technical innovations allow for the sensitive commodities to be transferred safely and efficiently.
