Hudson Shipping Lines, Inc. has completed its move to their brand new building. Hudson is proud to be a member of the Deerfield business community. With this move to Deerfield, they join the ranks of such corporations as Walgreens, Baxter, APAC, Fortune Brands, Consumers Digest and Così. As of 2009 Walgreens employed 5,200 people at its headquarters. As of 2003 Baxter employed a total of 1,000 employees in its headquarters and in other offices in Deerfield. Deerfield was at one time the headquarters of the Sara Lee Corporation. In 1987 Sara Lee had about 1,200 employees in Deerfield. Deerfield also houses the headquarters of some U.S. subsidiaries of Takeda Pharmaceutical Company.
This state of the art facility located next to the famous Hyatt Hotel Deerfield provides ease of access from most Chicagoland destinations and is easy 15 minute ride from the largest airport in the Midwest, O'Hare International.
Their new facility boasts the latest in communication technology platforms, including satellite and other Information Technology applications. The building houses its own dining and entertainment facilities as well as a private gym, and is secured round-the-clock with private indoor parking and a security force.
