Hudson's Sweet Haul

Recently Hudson Shipping was party to one of the largest sugar shipments to depart the port of Santos, Brazil. This ambitious project was made possible through cooperation with port authority agents and Hudson's logistical experts. Over 66,000 mts of sugar was loaded on board a Hudson Panamax and sailed without incident due to the prior precautions taken by the Hudson team to assure the proper draft would be available. These drafts were made possible via some proactive dredging of the channel and berth. This not only made it possible for Hudson to fulfill their requirement, but is an added benefit to all deepwater vessels calling the port of Santos.
