Hudson vessel MV Jin Yun rescues distressed boat!

On a recent summer morning the Hudson vessel “Jin Yun,” received a call from the US Coast Guard to assist a distressed vessel located about 500 miles off the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica with 3 people onboard. The Captain of the Jin Yun immediately altered course and was able to locate the small distressed boat about 2 hours later. All 3 Ecuadorian passengers were rescued successfully, and found to be in good health. As no other ship was readily available to transfer the 3 rescued men to, the Captain of the Jin Yun gave accommodation to the men and waited until the US Coast Guard arrived to relieve the Jun Yun of its passengers.
